# Creating and Deleting Tags

TAGS are simply a way to segment your database and easily access groups of people.
Create Tags such as “Trustees”, “Leaders”, “Student Group”, etc.

**To Create a New Tag:**

1. From the “People” Tab in the menu, select “TAGS”
2. From the TAGS screen, click the “Blue Plus” symbol in the top right.
3. Give your Tag a NAME.
4. Click “Create”.

**To Delete a Tag:**

1. From the TAGS screen, click the Down Arrow beside the Tag you want to delete.
2. Select “Delete Tag”.
3. Confirm that you want to delete it in the pop-up window.
