Community – Only Showing Public Events from External Calendars

The Events section of Community will only show events (calendar items) that are not private.  This also goes for external calendars you bring into Faith teams.


If you plan to bring in a calendar from elsewhere (such as Google), make sure the items on that calendar are meant for public viewing through Community.  If any of those events are private or internal to your church, make sure to set them as private.


The video below will show how to keep events private and not show on Community.



For events on an external calendar, look at the “private” setting for each event.


From there you can toggle the event as private if needed.
